How do you set up bobbins in a sewing machine?
♫ Kat ♫ asked:
I’m sewing on a Shark mini sewing machine…or attempting to sew on it, at least. I have not been able to do any stitches. I know I’m threading the needle correctly, but I don’t know how to rig the bobbin. Please help! I’d get my mom to help but she already broke our sewing machine’s bobbin.
It’s not the same sewing machine that’s broken. And I don’t have the manual anymore.

Put the bobbin in with the thread coming out of the left side. Pull it away from you and to the left until you see it go under a guide and then complete the circle with the loose end. Close the bobbin cover.
Take one stitch down and back up on your sewing machine. It will sort of catch the bobbin thread. When the needle is back up, use scissors or something and wave them right to left under the needle. This is supposed to pull the bobbin thread up where you want it to be, so you can pull it through the proper hole.
Here’s a step by step guide, with pictures, on how to thread a bobbin, and then insert it in the sewing machine so you can sew;

Not all sewing machines are alike, but this should give you the general idea.
